The architectural design of the new Puskás Arena is reminiscent of the old Népstadion. The architectural design and sight of the new Puskás Arena evokes the old Népstadion. We see the old in the new, thanks to the characteristic pylons and the concrete gratings that cover them. The old is still here with us: we built the demolished concrete of the Népstadion into the basic structure and walls of the Puskás Arena. The new Puskás Arena was built exactly on the old site, the center is in the same spot down to the millimeter. Puskás Arena is more than a stadium. Budapest is now enriched with eighty thousand world-class concert venues. Puskás Arena also hosts other indoor events.
The main features of the Puskás Arena
are the most accommodating, state-of-the-art multifunctional in Central Europe:
- a worthy home for the national football team: the proximity of the bleachers (each seat is up to 80 meters from the main floor),
- gives the facility a real football atmosphere (3 group qualifiers and quarter-final), suitable for hosting the Champions League – and the Euro League Finals, ,
- will host large-scale concerts and is a worthy venue for international conferences, banquets and other business events.

Interesting facts:
- 10 thousand tons of steel framework
- 150 000 m3 ferro-concrete, equivalent of 2 whole Erzsébet Bridges – would be enough to build 75 residential estates
- more than 57 thousand m2 of steel in the roofing, which was built by a 1,250 ton tracked crane
